The Company McDonnell-Douglas was likewise seduced by the Breguet 941 since they later applied its technology to their four-engine YC 15, introduced in flight at the 1977 Le Bourget airshow. It provides code tables for aerodromes, air operators including the world's major airlines and for ICAO and IATA codes for aircraft. I could find the starting date of my preliminary work thanks to a drawing dated from 1993, drawn with drafting pens on top of it!
The to-be Br.941 was built inWe aircraft is Breguet 941S nr.3. All four aircraft were withdrawn from use in 1974.

Only five aircraft of that type have been built: one prototype and four others for the French Air Force. In addition, one Breguet 940 prototype was also built.
